About Us

The Trussville Witches Ride, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting local families in need through its annual charity bike ride. Held through the historic Cahaba Homestead Village District, this fun and spooky event gathers the community to raise funds for a nominated beneficiary—chosen through a fair, unbiased selection process. Each year, the community nominates individuals or families who could benefit from financial support, and the Board selects the nominee whose needs are most urgent. Past rides have raised tens of thousands of dollars for deserving causes, from heart transplant families to children with rare medical conditions. The Trussville Witches Ride blends festive fun with impactful generosity, making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Meet Our 2026 Beneficiary

Before his first birthday, Titan had already faced an extraordinary medical journey. After experiencing severe jaundice and difficulty gaining weight as an infant, Titan was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare and life-threatening liver disease affecting the bile ducts and liver. At just 4 weeks old, he underwent a Kasai procedure at Children’s of Alabama in hopes of restoring liver function, but despite every effort, the procedure was unsuccessful.

The months that followed were marked by hospital stays, testing, medications, and unimaginable uncertainty before Titan ultimately received a life-saving liver transplant at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital at only 8 months old.

Today, Titan’s journey continues through ongoing medical care, medications, and frequent follow-up treatment in Nashville, where his family often stays at the Ronald McDonald House during appointments and care.

The Trussville Witches Ride is honored to rally around Titan and his family as our 2026 Beneficiary as they continue navigating transplant life one milestone at a time.
