About Us

The Trussville Witches Ride, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting local families in need through its annual charity bike ride. Held through the historic Cahaba Homestead Village District, this fun and spooky event gathers the community to raise funds for a nominated beneficiary—chosen through a fair, unbiased selection process. Each year, the community nominates individuals or families who could benefit from financial support, and the Board selects the nominee whose needs are most urgent. Past rides have raised tens of thousands of dollars for deserving causes, from heart transplant families to children with rare medical conditions. The Trussville Witches Ride blends festive fun with impactful generosity, making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Trussville Witches Ride beneficiary with family and community support

In 2025, the Trussville Witches Ride supported Olivia Ulbricht, whose story brought the community together in a meaningful way.

After spending nearly a year at Children’s of Alabama awaiting a heart transplant, Olivia is now thriving post-transplant. Through the support of this community, funds raised helped ease the financial burden on her family as they continue navigating her recovery.

A reminder of the kind of magic this community can create.
